What We Do

geekSchool/ MathGurusOnline is a project of Chameleon Integration Systems. Don't be put off by the name "geekSchool". It actually refers to us. We're geeks - we love learning about math, computers, science and technology. And we love to show anyone who wants to learn.

This is a family-oriented website that is as much for adults as it is for kids and young adults who are in school - whether it's grade school, high school or university. For adults, we'll have lessons in coding computer programs for the Internet, as well as articles on Internet-related technology. For kids and young adults, we'll have lessons and forums for math, programming, and science (biology, chemistry, physics).

Our squad of geeks have teaching experience in math, computers, science and technology. We'll be writing articles and tutorials, monitoring our forums, and even offering online tutoring help. Whenever possible, we'll use Flash videos to teach, which is a lot more fun, and easier to understand, than plain old lessons. Most of what we're offering here is free. We will also offer both one-on-one personal online tutoring at between US$20-40/hr, as well as special members-only forums (for as little as US$10-40/month). Members get access to custom lessons, disussions with our gurus, free software and e-books, and much more. Payments can be made via Paypal.

We are a small group and none of our services are up just yet. While we're working madly away getting our forums, blogs and lessons ready ready for you, here is a detailed list of what we are working on:

  • Reviews of software and hardware
  • WebGuru blog - Tips and techniques that every web programmer and webmaster should know. Information about Perl, PHP, mySQL, XML, RSS, BlogMastering, RSS/Atom Feeds (web syndication), Web/RSS Metrics/Analytics, Data Mining, and much more.
  • Solved problems in mathematics (grade school, high school, college/ university) - PDF format, free.
  • Solved computer code for various Internet-related applications.
  • Free Math Forum - membership not required. 3 levels: Grades 5-8, High School, University. Moderated but no math gurus present.
  • Paid Math Forum - Tutored - 3 levels. Membership: US$10-40/m; big discount for prepaying 6 months or more. Get qualified help with your math homework!
